You can create a shortcut on your desktop or taskbar to lock without using keyboard and just with click of a mouse by following these steps:
- Right click an empty spot on the desktop, select New -> Shortcut.
- In the Create Shortcut dialog box, type the following in “Type the location of the item” text box:
- rundll32 user32.dll,LockWorkStation
- Click Next and then provide some name for your shortcut, it can be anything like “LockThisNow”.
- Hit finish
Now you can drag this new Shortcut anywhere you want even on your task bar for easy access.
